Well Done, Good and Faithful Slave
Feb 8, 2026 • Jon Paul Dennison
God has entrusted us with talents, lifetimes of ability to be invested in His kingdom. Like the slaves in Jesus' parable who were entrusted with their master's assets upon his departure, those who use that which has been given to them will see a certain multiplication to return to the landowner when He returns. But those who bury their talent in fear will not have done what he gave it to them for.
God has given each of us the talents we have to be used for His kingdom. No matter how many we have, those who use them in the obedience of faith will ultimate hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful slave." But those who refuse to invest in His kingdom will prove to have a faith without the evidence of works, a faith that cannot save.
